Ok, she didn't actually steal it but she got it for less than a song and dance.. She wont tell me just how much she paid but the SIL said it would shock me into a possible heart attack. Anyway they took off today so we could pull a mid-day graduation... the school postponed it once and then decided to have it mid day because both kids and parents were going nuts. I see the kids and parent view too - they put in at least 12 yrs to get to that point... No real graduation for us but we have several close friends kids in this one.
Anyway we hit the range this morning and she pulled it out.. A really nice S&W model 410 -- the ones made back when S&W fell under the Federal Assault Weapons Ban so it only holds 10 rounds.. The lady who owned must not have shot it much, its dang near cherry with only a few holster wear marks. It a little jewel in my eyes even if its out classed these days. The only hiccup of the day was the kid grabbed a nearly empty box of ammo... the kids made sure they had plenty LOL.. Mom had to shoot with them after she ran out of ammo LOL. We shot mostly handguns but the boys did have their 597s and gave them the what for.. We will see just how long it takes the die to be non-trackable LOL.. They shot 5 or 6 of the ping pong balls at various ranges and they go poof really nice at 35yds with a 22 HVHP...
Most of the time they were shooting their bearcats LOL.. mom may want one now, it fits her hand... Even had the aunt with us so she could "air" hers out.. I still would not want to corner the old girl, no LOL there.. At 15yds she is deadly and can reload before you know she has done it and this is done with a 1911 that is WELL used LOL. The SIL gave a 1911 a good run for about 4 clips then wanted a wheelgun LOL.. Seems he can see just how much ammo a semi can eat and he is now on the presses handle a lot more than in the past. I have slowed way down on reloading for the big kids... they are all old enough to learn and do it themselves and he has had a few hiccups so he doesn't go fast anymore.. I still reload all the 45acp stuff and all of the stuff for the grand-kids but they could do it themselves if need be. I make the owners of the 40cal stuff do their own, sorry but I am not a 40 man and not much for the .380 or 9mm but I will do some of those, unless they are for practice then I set one of them down to pull on the handle LOL.
Anyway I was just told to post her picture of her target. I didnt even know we had one LOL.. I need to stay closer I guess...
I will let her fill in what she wants added now.
