I put this in another thread yesterday because I wanted to cuss some. I bought one yesterday and highly impressed with it. I have yet to shoot a group over 1 inch with it,, at 150 yards. Most is 3/4 to 5/8 but just breaking in the barrel and dealing with pouring rain. This thing is going to be a good one and getting ready to set the trig down some. I will put some pics up in a few days, after I find what it really likes to eat. So far,, it isn't very picky about the diet of powder charge. 41.6 to 42.8 has not changed the group size,, much at all. Been using R16 in it with a 143 ELD-X and time to move on,, to a differ powder. I see no need to keep chasing a constant 3/4 inch group at 150 yards,, over and over. I can always fall back on that if other powders,, go nuts.
The rifle is or seems to be very well made for the price. One of the smoothest running bolts for a 1000 buck entry level precision rifle that ive touched. Stock is nice and recoil is nothing. It comes straight back and no jumping in the air like some does. Trigger is nice but feel a the lightest bit of creep in it,, before it breaks. Id say that is oil / factory crud and needs cleaned / broke in. They claim it is a sub moa rifle with good factory round and it IS. It shot 11/16 at 150 yards and not 100,, so that is pretty good in my mind. I see no reason yet,, that this rifle isn't capable of 5 to 8 inch groups at 1000 yards // FACTORY AMMO. Hand loads is going to make it stupid good, once I play some more. Already have it better than factory ammo and only shot it 28 times.
The barrel seems to be very smooth and took about 5 minutes to clean, after five rounds the first time. Took less after 10 rounds and not playing the shoot three and clean deal. Its been cleaned up to 28 firings every five or so and will do it up to 40. After that,, im shooting the hell out of it up to 25 times and see if it depletes the accuracy. Highly doubt that it will,, but will find out.
