Well, most of the young people are gone, just a few of old ones and 1 boy so we went country tonight while we are playing board games. Got the boy in my chair right now so I can play on here a few minutes. The little goob got me earlier, been playing country from the 50s and 60s and he knew most of the titles, may not have known the who but he has at least heard them enough to know the what. He has had an interesting day, when mom comes in she may pop, but she isn't as testy as J is so it will be ok. The boy is 6 - he says almost 7 but -- anyway I let him climb up on the zero turn and mow some out in the pasture, he kept it slow and did a good job of not making it look like a snake mowed LOL. Then we split some big logs the redneck way.... drill 1in hole about 3 in deep, pack in some 2f stick a fuse and seal with plaster of paris and let him light it and run. He was scared as all get out until the first one went off and the log just laid open. They were all big dead cottonwoods so we didn't hurt any thing.
At lunch momma wanted to go to town and get some "real" hotdogs so we went to Coney Island and the boy ended up with his picture on the wall. The little dude shoved 6 down his gullet in less than 5 minutes so he made the kids side of the picture board, we sent mom a picture of his picture so she could brag at work LOL... Only thing we heard was she better have some when she gets in, we got her 6 and the lady there wrapped them in foil for us. This one may not be the original but is has had same family owners since 1953 and I thing they still use all the old recipes, everything just tastes bad for you, hmm could be why everything tastes so good.
I was carrying and I left my jacket and I guess the owner saw the shoulder holster and ask about it so we go to a back room so he can give it a look see. He carries an itty bitty Berretta Tomcat in 32acp. Way to small for my hands LOL, but he did like the feel of the XDM so who knows may have converted another one. I have nothing against smaller concealed handguns but I was raised on a 1911 and will probably be planted with one. The XDM is almost as accurate as my all steel Para 14-45 but for carry it beats the Para hands down or maybe that should be pants up... carrying the Para requires both suspenders and a belt LOL..
Mom is home so I will go see how he explains today... I want to see if the phrase what we do is our secret holds..... The others are good about it anymore but this one is new to not doing day care in the summer. I am corrupting another one LOL..
