I was told I needed to introduce myself. My name is Tom and as far as my experiences with firearms go, I have very little knowledge of them or reloading. After meeting J and the rest of her family I have become a, more rounded man or at least I think so.
My family does not hunt or shoot, we do own weapons for protection and have shot those a limited amount. After meeting Big Joe all my ideals got a shake up, he is a very unique man, his beliefs are somewhat old fashioned but very real. I think it took a few meetings to even get him to say more than hi to me.
He says it was my acceptance of the general family that made a difference, that and the fact he couldn’t run me off. I don’t think he tried very hard or if so I never noticed.
I own a recurve bow given to me by Big Joe and had bought a Weatherby Synthetic in 308 Winchester but I have since traded it to Big Joe for a combination rifle he said he never used, it is a Thompson Center Pro Hunter with a 30-06 Springfield barrel and a 50 cal black powder barrel both in stainless steel. I started to object to the uneven trade when J told me to shut up and take his offer, he wont make it again. So he got a cheap on sale rifle and I got this beautiful hunting machine. He has already worked out some loads for both barrels and it came with 100 loaded cartridges and experience he as to help me reload for it.
J told me I wont like his way of schooling but, not to get in trouble but I listen better than most from what I have witnessed. I will post the picture of my new rifle when we get out there after work.
Ok now for other side of the equation, I have been a guest a few times and I have been on a few times under J’s name. I did not do anything but check out some of the answers and the ribbings that seem to go on a lot here. I am on a model aircraft site and they are nothing like you people. They all seem to be the genius types. I know that doesn’t say much but I will not lower myself to their levels of rudeness.
Ok that’s me
