That brook is very nice but id rather catch a big female because they just look better to me. I have never cared for mounting the big males with the kipe or how ever you spell it on them. That is a nice yellow perch and you seen the one Desi caught a while back. It might have been 7 1/2 inches and big as a golf ball. Some of the best eating out there though. Damn things has scales tough as gar but very good.
If all goes well, Desi is fishing the pond that I talked about a few weeks back this weekend. I had to balance the air flow at the owners house today and next thing I know, I'm working on a golf cart and 12 volt pull around sprayer. The man is disabled but tries his best and the woman catches crap left and right from him about how to do this or that. I just fell into a care taker / handi man job at my convenience and they pay good. She gave me 20 bucks for hooking the sprayer up and setting the ball valves for the wand and not the spray bar on back. I couldn't take that money and she wouldn't take it back so I put it in the mail box on the way out.
I stopped back by after work and talked to them about taking Desi to the pond and she said that it was a funny thing that a twenty was in the mail box and it was fine for her to fish anytime she wished. The sprayer didn't work out for her and its sucking air around the filter assembly. I will fix it this weekend but will spray the fruit trees by hand tomorrow. I don't think spraying them now is a bright idea but that's what the man wants and needs many other things done. I will work for hunting and fishing rights. Almost 200 acres of prime hunting, 8 minutes from my house.
O yea, I got to load some 204's because they have a ground hog problem along with crows. Shots can be out to 450 easy if my eyes was working correct. Going to work on that right now and got piles of 40 grain Bergers. I haven't messed with them much and IIRC,, they shot pretty darn good. Off to the bench and going to have a fun weekend.
