I agree that instructing women is much easier for the reasons you both cited...with one exception. Often I encountered women who were taught to shoot by a well meaning male figure (or a complete jerk). Many of these women developed a severe flinch after being improperly exposed to firearms that were too much to handle --"here honey, shoot this 500, you can handle it no problem...snicker snicker". I'm sure you've both seen this. Depending on the person, this issue can be very difficult to cure. While the ability to focus on the target and operate the firearm isn't lacking...that darn flinch is the problem I'm often called upon to correct.
There are quite a few women who have sought my instruction solely because I'm a woman. Many are under the impression I will go easier on the than a male instructor. As I said before, both male and female students get the same instruction...as you both know, there is no bias when you are teaching the safe handling of a firearm.
