WooHoo!!!! the barrel for the 264RLB™ was waiting on me when I got in after being rained out this morning. I already have a date with a local engraver Sat morning for it's official tag " 264RLB #8". Ok, I have a little more work to do then the picture will be posted. Still need these things in same order : engraved, barrel coated (going to go with DuraBake) then fit to rifle and the goodies bolted/screwed on and then a picture, then some shooting and then first picture of targets. Dang, this thing looks good just laying here on the desk.. It's a CM barrel but Sam did his magic and it has the same sheen of the SS barrel that was sent as a guide. Damn happy camper here!!! Ok, I can now fully understand the feeling of this disease, I was prepared for the waiting period and now its over it was well worth every second of it. This is not my first wildcat, I have one other that I call a wildcat. I have a 19-223 Calhoun on a CZ action. I label them as wildcats because they have not been worked out yet. Sure you guys ahead of me have worked on this for a while but its still relatively new, I mean I have the 8th known 264RLB™ built. the other so called wildcats have been worked over and they are not really wildcats now as I see it. To me when you cant find more than a few loads for one its still a wildcat, If you want to know loads for the 264RLB™ you pretty much come here. If I want to load the 6.5x257Rob I can find them all over same with 6.5x284. If you search for loads for 264RLB you get sent here pretty much straight away. OK, i'm ranting now, will post and continue to talk to and rub on my precious --- NO! NO! not that one. -- remember, this is my rifle, this is my gun, this one is for killing, this one is for fun....
