Maybe it was the light messing with the chrony but not sure yet with the R19 load.I just ran four 75grn bullets with 52.1grns of H414 across it and got an average of 3547 and to my surprise the load cut holes at 65 yards.I never liked H414 but maybe the rifles that I tried it in DIDNT LIKE IT.I will try the R19 again with some other powders and just getting started on this baby. The accuracy is there without a doubt but haven't pushed it way out yonder yet.65 yards isn't nothing but sometimes if a rifle cuts holes that close then its a shooter and can start tweaking stuff and see how the bullet flies on out there.Ive seen hole cutters at 100 go to spit at 300 so im not sure what is best yet.
I hoping to get it to bust a 1" dot at 300 yards and will if it takes me all summer but I don't think it will take much effort at all from what im seeing so far.
I was still pooped this morning and had to go to the mill so no fire wood got cut today but did get all the wood stacked and bark piles cleaned up.Put a thermostat in my truck also because that's what the computer at Advance said the code was.I thought the temp hand was running at tad low because its been cold as heck outside. The temp hand is running in the right place now and will see if that takes care of the check engine light deal.Man that thing was tight getting in without taking the throttle body and whatever off.Glad I have plenty of tools to fit in tight places.Three bolts and a hose clamp took 45 minutes to get out and put back.Guess it could have been a lot worse.
