Like the title says but I had to get back on to give a serious shout out to the RCBS customer service people. I bought a couple of molds from a member here and one had a few missing parts - no biggie to me I just robbed a mold I had here to give it a test run.. I havent even got them lubed or powder coated yet but they came out great... more on that later.
So I though I will order the parts now for my mold so I sent RCBS an email - got return email asking me to call so we could get the exact parts needed lined out. I made it clear in the email the missing parts were not damaged just lost somewhere. So called and got a very nice girl and after a bit she knew what I needed then told me she would get them right out under warranty -- I again explained I wasnt expecting warranty replacement. So somehow in all the conversation she pulled up my order history and then she ask how my supply of the priming sleeves are holding out... My mind "went what the hey" but my mouth said I have a few left, but I am good until the first of the year probably -- so she added another set of the small ones to the "order" to. The real thing here is I have had the APS priming tool for well over 20 yrs and they still send me the sleeves for free.... I have tons of dies that are not in green boxes and its times like this I wonder if I am needing to step up and swap a few out for the same in the green boxes.. Ok several I have are from manufacturers that are long gone but the dies are for a particular rifle or pistol... People (me included) may gripe about their prices at times but with the customer service they provide the price is squat really. This is not the first time I had been more than blessed by RCBS and I am still in awe of how they do business at times. I guess the old school ways are just memories for the most part and when they pop up its hard for my head to grasp... so many others will tell you so sorry, to bad we dont keep those parts anymore.....
